how skateboarding changed my life

In this article, I will tell you how skateboarding changed my life and helped me achieve so many things.

I don’t know what it is about skateboarding, but I can’t get enough of it. It’s like a drug for me.

I’ve been skating since I was 10 years old and now at 23, this sport has shaped my life in so many ways that I wouldn’t change it for anything.

The one thing that makes living the skater lifestyle worth while are all of the amazing people you meet along the way!

These people will be friends for life and if you’re lucky they’ll share their knowledge with you as well!

When things go wrong with your board or when something goes wrong with your feet these guys have got your back!

Skateboarding is a beautiful thing because there’s no judgment on who can do it or who can’t. It doesn’t discriminate against the elderly or the young.

In this article, I will tell you how skateboarding changed my life for the better and how it can do the same for you!

How Skateboarding Changed My Life

How Skateboarding Changed My Life

Below are some of the major changes that skateboarding brought to my life. It has changed my life so much from being a 10-year-old kid to the 25-year-old man I am today.

1. Confidence

One of the first things that skateboarding does for you is it helps build your confidence. When you’re starting out, it’s not easy to land tricks and you will often fall.

But with every fall, you will learn something new, and eventually, you’ll start landing tricks. This builds your confidence and teaches you that you can do anything if you put your mind to it!

2. Friendship

Skateboarding brings people together from all walks of life. When I was starting out, I met a lot of older skaters who were more than happy to lend me advice and help me out. Without skating I would never have met them and these are friends for life!

3. Patience

With any sport, you need to be patient if you want to become good at it. Skateboarding is no different.

You will fall countless times before you learn how to do your first trick. But if you stay patient and keep at it, eventually you will land that trick!

4. Fitness

I love skateboarding because it’s an amazing workout. You’re constantly on the go which means you never get bored. The more tricks I learn, the fitter I become! It’s a win-win situation!

5. Happiness

When you skateboard, there’s no feeling like it in the world. To pop yourself up on to a trick and make it look effortless makes you feel like you can take over the world!

There is nothing better than seeing your dream board that you’ve wanted for so long just sitting right in front of you in the store!

There is no feeling like it in the world. I love skateboarding because it makes me happy and I hope you find your happiness in skating too!

6. Responsibility

Skateboarding will teach you responsibility. You can’t rely on anyone else to carry your boards around for you, so you need to be able to carry them yourself.

You also need to be able to look after your own equipment and make sure it’s in good condition. This responsibility transfers to other areas of your life as you get older.

7. Confidence In Life

Skateboarding has taught me that if I put my mind to something, I can achieve it. I’ve been skating for a long time now and have become pretty good at it.

I want to be even better which is what motivates me every day!

If you want something, don’t let anything stop you from achieving your dreams.

8. Appreciation

Skateboarding has taught me the value of hard work and how fun it is to get rewarded for it in the end.

If you work hard, you get great results! And when you do get such a great result like landing a trick or getting new shoes, make sure to appreciate what you have and how far you’ve come!

9. Balance

Skateboarding teaches life balance. I go skating as often as I can and I make sure to balance it with my studies and my social life. It’s amazing how much skateboarding has changed my life and I hope you find your passion and happiness in skating too!

Skateboarding is not just another hobby; it’s a way of life that will change your perspective on everything. It will bring new people into your life, teach you patience and force you to become more responsible.

But most importantly, it will make you happy! Skateboarding has done so much for me and I hope it does the same for you.
